Ibiza’s climate is a real luxury. That’s why we’ve decided to include a range of convertible cars in Ibiza in our selection of Ibiza car hire. Don’t worry, if it’s a bad day you’ll have perfect cover and if it’s sunny, enjoying the breeze and the smell of the sea is great – experience it with our convertibles!
We offer you three different ones, depending on your preferences, the people you are travelling with and your luggage.
- Fiat 500 Cabrio: so small it looks like a two-seater… but it’s a four-seater! but it is a four-seater! You will also be surprised by its interior space, thanks to the absence of its central tunnel, allowing you more room. The seats are also very comfortable and soft… you have to try them out. Perfect if you want a small convertible, one of those that “fit anywhere” and you don’t travel with bulky luggage. Its soft top is very elegant and easy to put on and take off, as it works in the classic way. Its LED lights with “Infinity” branding provide a clearer view of the road. The interior of this Fiat is made of sustainable materials and its 10.25” screen is very intuitive and modern, as it is touch-sensitive and Bluetooth-enabled. It is compatible with wireless projection systems, ideal if your passengers want to be entertained while you drive. It has a USB connector for charging mobile phones and other devices. It has an intelligent Sherpa mode, which optimises parameters such as air conditioning, speed limit and acceleration to save energy.
- Mini Cooper Cabrio: if you want a slightly larger convertible, we recommend the Mini Cooper Cabrio, a mid-size, with plenty of interior space to keep you comfortable, which is very important in hot weather! It has a beautiful design, characteristic of the Mini, whether you have it with the top up or down. Another feature of the Mini is its powerful engine, something that will come in handy on the many slopes of the island. It has 4 seats and 160-240 litres of boot capacity. The boot has an Easy Load function, making it easy to load and unload your luggage. Its seats are 50/50 split, so you can carry larger items, such as a surfboard. Its 3-in-1 soft-top electric soft top takes just 18 seconds to raise or lower. So you can tackle a quick downpour or enjoy the sun in the blink of an eye – it’s like driving a go-kart!
- The Jeep Wrangler is probably one of the most popular American luxury SUVs and one of the most fun to drive on the island. This model owes its aesthetics to the military vehicles of World War II, although it went into production in the late 1980s.
Many people choose to rent a convertible when they visit Ibiza. That’s why we recommend you book your convertible well in advance. This way you can choose the model!
When is it advisable to rent a convertible in Ibiza?
Keep in mind that, as in other places of the same latitude, the climate varies throughout the year in Ibiza. In summer (June, July and August) the weather is very hot and dry, we recommend you to wear sun cream and not to spend too much time with the top down, if you don’t want to spend a bad night because of sunstroke.
The ideal time to drive with the top down is from April to September, because of the pleasant breeze and low probability of rain. In October there is a greater chance of rain and from October to March temperatures may be too low to drive the convertible. Although there are always some bright and warm days, so don’t think twice and take advantage of our convertible car service in Ibiza!
